Nestled beneath Little Dromedary mountain at Tilba on 320 acres of lush, fertile farmland sits this charming, coastal farmhouse. Situated just 2.2km from the historic village of Central Tilba, this property is less than a kilometre from the ocean and offers the best of both worlds for those looking for a coastal retreat in a rural setting.
The modern cottage opens to a wide, covered verandah with wonderful, restful views across rolling green countryside.
Featuring chic, contemporary design, space and comfort are assured. An open plan living area boasts two seating areas, a fabulous kitchen with every appliance and a large dining area. All the bedrooms feature super comfortable, quality mattresses and crisp linen, while the designer bathroom and laundry are immaculate and functional.
Sit back and relax on the full length front verandah, or take an easy walk or short drive into the historic National Trust Village of Central Tilba bursting with cafes, gift stores and galleries, the Dromedary Hotel and its visiting musos, and the famous Tilba Cheese Factory.
Fancy an early morning walk to the beach? You can wander down Sherringham Lane to see the rolling surf (1km) . Or stroll along the laneways of the farm and say good morning to a happy cow or two, all before your alfresco breakfast on the deck.
Discover the pristine beaches of the far south coast, with Mystery Bay Beach just 3kilometres away, and a little further to attractions north at Glasshouse Rocks (15.3km), and Narooma (16km), or south to Bermagui (20km)and Camel Rock (12km).
With three bedrooms and all linen supplied, Tilba Farm is the ideal place to unwind for a carefree holiday in summer, spring, autumn or winter. Even in winter, the farmhouse is beautifully warmed by a wood-fired heater. The owners run Angus beef and a flock of sheep and are part time residents of the nearby original farmhouse.

Kitchen: Large open plan kitchen fully equipped inc dishwasher, double sink, electric cooktop & oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, island bench
Internet/WiFi access - This property provides complimentary WiFi and password details will be provided in your arrival letter. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the WiFi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, please therefore always have a back-up plan.

It is a beautiful accomodation, superbly located in a stunning part of Australia with wonderful beaches, glorious bush walks and gorgeous towns all within an easy driving distance. We have already booked again.

This picture perfect rural acreage along with the lovely modern house, provided my family with a delightful holiday experience. The home has magnificent views of the Tilba Valley and is only a few minutes to the beach. The home has a lovely open plan with quality inclusions, including a gourmet kitchen and fireplace.The beds were super comfortable.I was impressed by the hosts generosity with providing extra kitchen and bathroom items, to ensure you had above and beyond everything you needed to create a memorable stay. I will return again soon !

Kelly - 9th April 2021Tilba Farm has scenery to take your breath away and is just a beautiful place to holiday. The accommodation is fully equipped for self catering and goes above and beyond to make sure you have all you need. Fabulous beds, linen, washing and bathroom facilities, lovely fire to keep you warm and I challenge anyone not to have a good nights sleep! Nearby beaches are lovely for swimming and Tilba offers very cute places to eat or potter.......looking forward to coming back!

Janine - 14th December 2020Loved Tilba farm. It's a rural idyll nestled on a hillside just a short walk to the coast and the town of Central Tilba. Great location for exploring the region - between dinners at Il Passagio in Bermagui and oysters from Wapengo lake or Narooma. The property is lovely and the location stunning.
The best by far
Ytedz - 27th November 2020My partner and I had the most relaxing recharge with our Cavoodle Henry at Tilba Farm. Picturesque and lots of solitude with great beaches both North and South within 15-20 minutes for day trips. One a clear night we slept under the stars with magnificent views due to the remote location and next to no ambient light. 8 nights felt like a month away! Can absolutely recommend Tilba Winery and the heritage town of Tilba for shopping as well as great food and hospitality. Mystery Bay, Narooma Bar Beach Seal Sanctuary and for a day trip Merimbula Bar Beach Kiosk and beach. The majority of beaches in this area are pet friendly except the National Park areas and use a simple traffic light system for time share, off leash or not allowed. This property tops the list of stays over the last 10 years for me.
Stunning, secluded & peaceful
John - 17th September 2020We recently stayed at Tilba Farm and couldn't recommend it more highly. The location is stunning backed into a mountain and the cottage & farm are the only 2 houses visible in the little valley. It is extremely peaceful & quiet - we went for walks & runs around the farm, down to the nearby beach, into quaint Tilba or just relaxed on the large table on the verandah. The hosts Grant & Ingrid were fabulous with their recommendations of local beaches, sites, restaurants etc & were always checking in to make sure our stay was perfect. Will be back when we can, we didn't want to leave!

Andrew - 3rd April 2020Lovely stay. Brilliant spot! Its a beautiful property. The view from the accommodation is gorgeous. Very relaxing stay overall. Perfect for young kids with the cows and sheep on the property. It is lovely and isolated and peaceful - but not too isolated. Its only a few mins to Central Tilba and only 20 mins to Bermagui. The surrounding beaches are spectacular! We will be back one day!
