Relax on the deck amongst the gum trees or curl up on the lounge with a good book and soak up the peace with the wood burning fire crackling. With cathedral ceilings and large windows – the shared spaces are flooded with light making the home incredibly welcoming.

This is the perfect property for people that want to immerse themselves in nature whilst still being incredibly close to the beach and the convenience of town.

Some of the local attractions include the Fisherman's Wharf (1.2km), Country Club and golf course (1.4km), the main street shops and beach, and the recently refurbished Bermagui Hotel (1.9km).

If you want room to stretch this is an ideal holiday home.

Linen: Supplied - just bring your beach towels!

Bathroom: Shower, vanity and toilet.

Lounge Room: Open plan living with 1 L-shaped lounge & 2 comfortable chairs. Smart TV.

Dining: Open plan space with dining table & 6 chairs perfectly positioned next to the wood burning fire.

Kitchen: Fully equipped kitchen including cooktop/oven, microwave, fridge/freezer, Dishwasher, toaster, kettle, coffee machine.

Internet/WiFi access: NBN Fixed Wireless. This property provides complimentary Wi-Fi and password details will be provided upon arrival at the property. Please note however that neither the agency nor the owner can guarantee 100% that the Wi-Fi will work, and no compensation will be payable if problematic. If important, therefore, please have a back-up plan.

Laundry: Includes front-loading washing machine and laundry tub.

Heating/Cooling: Reverse cycle air conditioning unit in main living area. Combustion wood heater, wood supplied and stored under skillion attached to garage.

Family weekend away in May

The property is peaceful and has a unique charm. This is definitely the perfect place to escape your busy life. It's nestled down a long driveway and is surrounded by trees, it looks out onto a lake. Firewood was stocked ready for us to use. The kitchen was fully equipped and it even had a large variety of teas and other basic things you would need in the cupboards. The main bedroom mattress was very soft and we kinda rolled into one another. That could probably up upgraded at some point.

Highly recommend this property for a stay. Everything is clean and very well stocked with lots of extras that added to the stay like the great chess board and selection of books and chopped timber. Loved the bush setting to see all the wildlife while still being so close to everything. We had a great stay here and would definitely come back.

Everything was perfect. Best stocked pantry ever. Loads of firewood and kindling. Lots of kitchen utensils, and clean matchy sets. We all loved the shower and view and how peaceful it was. Location is great. Thanks for a great stay.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bermagui. The location was perfect - it was quiet and such a treat to wake up in the trees with the beautiful view out to the water. We loved having dinner on the balcony each night. The house was spacious, comfortable and well equipped for our family to enjoy our holiday. It was an easy walk into town with the kids too.

129 Murrah St was a home away from home. It is a stunning property in peaceful surrounds with beautiful scenery and adorable animal encounters (wallabies & kangaroos). The interior was plush with all the amenities we could wish for making this an easy stay. The beds were so comfortable that we couldn't resist early nights. Location was a perfect balance of convenient but secluded where we could walk to town but also feel 'away from it all' making it a truly restorative property.

A lovely home with a gorgeous view of the water through the trees. The setting was so private and not far from the town. We loved the sound of the birds, had visits from kangaroos and wallabies. A very comfortable stay with everything we needed.

This place is the perfect quiet getaway... On the edge of beautiful Bermagui with its delicious restaurants/bakeries and eye-stunning sites, it also provides the quietude needed to go within yourself as Mother Nature watches on. The home has plenty of room to spread out and its three-acre lot gives plenty to explore. The kitchen has literally everything you could ever need for a long or short stay and the view of the river is nothing short of magical. We highly recommend this wonderful home!!

Well furnished and equiped cabin style house set in some stunning forest with filtered views to the river. Prolific bird and animal life - an amazingly peaceful spot. We spent a lovely week here enjoying the books, coffee machine and BBQ on the deck (and of course all else that Bermagui offers).
